The Department of Pharmacology, Therapeutics & Toxicology comprises of 11 full time and 6 part time staff and contributes significantly to Teaching, Research and Clinical Medicine.
Teaching
We offer undergraduate courses to science, medical and dental students and postgraduate courses in Therapeutics, Toxicology and Occupational Medicine.

Research
Research activities centre around cardiovascular science, cancer pharmacology, clinical pharmacology and toxicology.
Clinical services are delivered through the Cardiff and Vale University Health Boards, All Wales Therapeutics & Toxicology Centre, based at University Hospital Llandough and the University Hospital of Wales.
