Section of Geriatric Medicine

The Section of Geriatric Medicine aims to improve the care and treatment of older people, through research into common conditions of old age and specialist training for those involved in their care, including medical students.

We work closely with NHS geriatricians in Cardiff and throughout Wales and our approach is collaborative and multidisplinary.

We are based in the Academic Centre at University Hospital Llandough, with a sub-department in North Wales.
