Get Involved
We recognise that we cannot do this alone - improving medical education at Cardiff will be a shared responsibility – and although coordinated by the C21 Project team within the Division of Medical Education, this project must be driven by you; the staff, tutors, doctors, students, patients, administrators and other health care professionals.
There are a number of opportunities for you to get involved and help shape the future of medical education at Cardiff:
Consultation: have your say
We have held a number of consultation exercises throughout the C21 programme where we sought your views and feedback. The initial consultation was completed in early 2011 and a further consultation exercise took place in 2012. For further information visit our Consultation pages.
Curriculum conferences and away day
Each year, we will host a curriculum conference and an away day. These events provide an opportunity for you to keep up to date with developments in medical education, share best practice and develop your own knowledge and skills. We'll also present the outcomes of the consultation exercises, feedback on progress and explain what happens next.
The next annual Curriculum Conference, the C21 Curriculum Showcase, will take place on Friday 7th March 2014. Further details will appear here in due course. Alternatively email: conferencemeded@cardiff.ac.uk
Get involved
We need your help - we are looking for volunteers to get involved in the various C21 projects to ensure that the proposals developed are not only practical but provide solutions to the challenges faced. With five projects covering all areas of undergraduate medical education, we need people from a variety of backgrounds and with a range of experiences - are you up for the challenge? If you want to get involved e-mail C21@cardiff.ac.uk or call 029 2074 3404.
