The Second Annual Cardiff Summer School in Brain Disorder Research
The Centre for Neuropsychiatric Genetics and Genomics hosts the Summer School in Brain Disorders Research.
Monday 20th September - Thursday 23rd September 2010
The School is aimed at clinical trainees and non-clinical scientists, particularly in the early stages of their career, including those thinking about pursuing a higher degree, those working in other scientific areas who are interested in moving into this field and anyone who wants an introduction to cutting edge research in brain diseases and the opportunities available to pursue a career in research. Via talks, interactive sessions and informal discussion participants will gain an appreciation of a range of exciting approaches employed at the MRC centre in the study of brain disorders including epidemiology, neuroimaging, molecular biology and genetics.
Participation is limited to 30 attendees and places will be allocated competitively with generous financial support awarded to those who obtain a place.
The deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 16th July 2010
