Research in Haematology
Acute Myeloid Leukaemia
The AML research team is led by Professor Alan Burnett, Dr Richard Darley, Dr Alex Tonks and Dr Steve Knapper. Their group is currently made up of 4 PIs, 4 post-doctoral research fellows, 5 scientists, 2 students, 1 clinical research fellow. In addition, Dr Robert Hills is Head of the Haematology Clinical Trials Unit which has a number of research technicians and clinical trial adminstrators as well as a Bioinformatician.
Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL)
The CLL research team is led by Dr Chris Pepper, Dr Paul Brennan and Dr Chris Fegan. Their group is currently made up of 5 scientists, 4 students and 3 clinicians.
